She graduated in 2003 from University of Silesia in Katowice achieving a Master of Science in Geology.

Marzena has over 16 years experience in geology sector. She began her professional career in 2004 at Geoprojekt Slask and has followed the traditional career path from soil laboratory technician through junior geologist and senior geologist now as projects geologist coordinator.

She is the author and co-author of over a thousand commercial geological studies for construction of buildings, roads, rail and gas industries.

In 2011 she become a chartered geologist passing a professional qualifications examination in Ministry of Environment in Poland.
